January's GlossyBox has arrived!

I first read about Glossybox in France and I waited for a while before it finally arrived in Sweden.But now it is here and I'm totally addicted. The 5 products you get every month are usually original and since I have received those cute pink boxes I have tried many brands I didn't know about. This time I'm looking forward to trying Illamasqua Cream pigment since I've never tried such a product. It seems that you can use it either for the eyes, the lips or the cheeks, let's see!

Göteborg's Krogveckan 1-13 februari

On Friday starts Krogveckan in Göteborg. For those who love eating out and like great deals, go have a dinner in one of the selected restaurants in town and pay only 200kr for two dishes (either entré and main dish or main dish and dessert). You can check out the menus and book asap at Bookatable.com. It is worth it because you get to discover great restaurants such as Lagerhuset, Hos Pelle or Avalon to name only a few. Hurry because some places are already fully booked!

Mini Rodini's new Collection SS13 Bon Voyage

I loove Mini Rodini. I haven't counted how many of their clothes my son owns but he has a bunch and they are all original, trendy and of high-quality. So yesterday, when they released the new SS13 collection called Bon Voyage, I couldn't resist and bought the fun rope racerback tank in green. And actually, today, I heard that some of the clothes had sold out only on the first day! Chapeau Mini Rodini!Here are some of my favourites...

Kay Bojesen's Monkey...real or replica?

There was a very interesting article from Frida Ramstedt in the GP today where I read about the differences about real and replicas of the famous monkey created by Danish Kay Bojesen. I love those wooden figurines and  I hope one of those lovely monkeys will soon be mine. Therefore, I really appreciated reading about how to recognize a real one. Among a few, I learnt that the teak and limba monkey shouldn’t be stiff, it should be stamp marked and the high-quality wood should be soft on the skin.

I was quiet tempted by one of them which is currently on sale on Tradera but I really don't feel like taking any chance on buying a fake product. Fashion Scandinavia is a book by Dorothea Gundtoft to be released in the spring. Dorothea has an eye for the nordic fashion industry. She is a big fan of Acne and if the book focuses on famous scandinavian designers, it also tells us the story of  less famous designers such as Altewai Saome, Maria Nordström, Heikki Salonen, Kristofer Kongshaug and Eyglo.

Vanessa Paradis for H&M

H&M unveiled Vanessa Paradis as the new face of its next Conscious Collection campaign. The trendy and sustainable collection will be available this spring in the stores.
Coinciding with the campaign, there will be the launch of a garment collecting action in some H&M stores. Customers will be able to bring any unwanted garment - rather the ones which can't be worn anymore (stains, holes...) - and get a 50kr discount for each 300kr purchase in an H&m store.

I'm pretty sure that if we used this waffle maker our waffles would be much tastier and more luxurious. Right now, this product is a work of art not commercialised yet and created by Los Angeles based Andrew Lewicki.

H&Ms new store....& Other Stories

H&M will launch its new stores chain during this spring in Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Milan, Paris and Stockholm.But we will also be able to shop online via stories.com in Belgium, Danmark, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Great-Britain, Germany and Sweden.

According to spokesperson Elke Kieft, the range starts from 7 euros flipflops to leather boots of 225 euros.

In their ateliers located in Stockholm and Paris, the designers have worked on a new concept of clothes that would match a wide range of accessories and make-up.

Lisa Butler, who is in charge of the make-up collection wanted the products to be of high quality and therefore chose to sell them in a simple packaging that would be environmentally friendly. The idea is to be able to return it to the store and get a 10%discount on the next purchase.

Can't wait to see the whole collection and I hope that they will soon open a store in Gothenburg!

CC CREAM, the new BB CREAM

After BB creams (Blemish Balm Cream) here comes CC creams (Color Control Cream). That new cream concept, which comes from Corea, is supposed to have a lighter texture than the BB cream. An other benefit is its high SPF rating to ensure protection from UVA and UVB rays. And last but not least, it covers uneven skin tones.
Several brands have already started promoting it, now which one will you choose?
